Everyone experiences dry mouth from time to time, such as after prolonged speech or when under stress<\/a>.
\nIt gets annoying when you suffer from insufficient saliva in your mouth for a longer period of time.
\nProlonged or persistent mouth dryness can be bad for your teeth and oral mucosa. A lack of saliva is the cause of dry mouth.
\nFor example, the salivary glands do not release enough saliva.
\nSaliva can also dry out due to evaporation when breathing through the mouth.
